Storyline
Plot Summary:Baron Munchausen is a character of European myth that might be considered the predecessor of American tales of Pecos Bill or Paul Bunyan. The Baron’s stories are taken to be outrageous and fanciful lies. This is the origin of the name of the psychiatric diagnosis of “Munchausen’s Syndrome”, a particularly bizzare form of hypochondria.

Im looking for a movie from the 1980’s. It was Alice in wonderland meets The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.? All i remember from watching it when i was a kid is this girl in a house with a big living room and mirrors everywhere and something was attacking her. Also i remember that when she goes into the other world there are people who are made into stone bc of the witch or something. I’ve tried looking for adaptations of Alice in Wonderland but none seem to be it. Does anyone by any chance remember any of this?

Can anyone recommend me any recent movie where a bunch of people have to survive or try to get away. Movies like I am Legend, Jurassic Park, Deep Impact, 28 days/weeks, Godzilla, Day After Tomorrow, George Romero’s Zombies, Cloverfield, Independence Day, etc….. Also wouldn’t mind Rapture-based movies that aren’t there to "preach", as that pisses me off. I don’t want the older ones just because I want the feeling to hit closer to home at this moment. =)
Why are almost all conservatives (here, at least) so anti-Obama and against everything he ever does? Bush wasn’t my favorite person in the world when he was in office, but I tolerated him and supported him, though I didn’t necessarily agree with every choice he made. Why? Because he was our president, the leader of the free world. I’m a patriotic person, and I’m proud of my country. I was under the impression that patriotism was a cornerstone of the GOP. Why, then, do so many people decry Mr. Obama and everything he does? It’s not his fault we’re in the recession, and he can’t be our convenient scapegoat for it (neither can Bush). Maybe he’s making spending mistakes, and maybe he’s not, but it’s not fair to just constantly belittle him. Maybe he’s ruining his own cabinet. Maybe he’s doing all kinds of bad things, but nothing that’s surfaced so far has been detrimental enough to our state of affairs to warrant the outrage currently held against him. He’s clearly trying his hardest, to get our country back together. And if he is indeed misguided, especially to the point of having a negative impact to our way of life, complaining about him won’t solve anything – you have to take action yourself. If he’s really the commie Anti-Christ he’s so often compared to, how can you call yourself patriotic or American without doing something to get this guy you clearly detest out of office? Personally, I think he’s doing a fine job so far. We’re not going to be able to get economically stable by taking away all the taxes, adding a bunch of expensive programs, and wasting all the resources that have lead to the recession in the first place. It’s like digging deeper into a hole to try and get out. If you have to compare him to Bush, compare their approval ratings. Most people approve of Obama at this point in time, which means that the greater majority of people think he’s doing a decent job. Can’t you just accept this and root for him on the sidelines instead of making him out to be an evil human being? I’ll be surprised if I get even one answer that isn’t just an ad hominem accusing me of being a liberal, but thanks in advance to anyone who actually gives me a good, non-slanderous answer.

what are the best perks for call of duty 4 when sniping? ive been starting to snipe, instead of close combat. the perks ive been using are claymores, uav jammer, and deep impact. i prefer to use the m40. i hear alot of people using the stopping power perk over uav jammer, won’t that just make you an easier target by not hiding your location on the radar? any suggestions???
leg injury on 19month old son, take to the doctors? Ok, first off I don’t want to come across as a neglectful and I don’t want to come across as a paranoid mother. I am a young mom, married but raising this kid without my familys help. Anyways 2 weeks ago my son, managed to pull down our tv, it’s a big tv must weigh in over 25lbs. It fell a foot down, directly onto my sons body, bring him down. The overall impact, of course scared him, he did hit the floor and it pin him down, it also had gashed one of his legs more then the other about 4inches below the knee cap. Anyways by the time my husband came home, that deep gash (didnt gush blood) started to scab and there wasnt much of a deep puncher wound showing. Now it will be 2weeks tomorrow and all this time ive been nervous to run my hand over that area, because of the healing. Anyways as of today there is a scab and what i also noticed a large bump. Should I take him to the er? the bump is here and its been 2 weeks, would that be normal? it doesnt seem to bother him, but then again I think babies dont pay to much attention to pain. What could this be, it of course is on top and around the area where the gash was.
The reason I also mention taking him to the er as to bring him to the pediatrics for a check up, is because if he needs an xray then i have to go to another hospital, because of the insurance.
Has anyone ever been so happy that….? You end up taking things for granted. The other day I was just in deep thinking. I’m at a good college which is well know for performing well, all I see it as is a well performing college and thats it. But I just thought, the people at this college are so nice, that you wouldnt find them in any other college or school, thats why i travel far to get to this college. Then I thought the people I sit next to are just so great people I mean, Ive just taken it for granted that the boy next to me in maths is really helpful to me when I get stuck and Im so lucky to be sitting next to like the most cleverest person in the year. And also the fact that in biology I can sit next to 2 different kinds of people. on the right is a nice clever girls who just keeps me focused on my work and on my left is a different girl who I cant talk with for a laugh. then in chemistry , I ve taken for granted that Ive got a such an excellent experiment working partner, who is like the best person to work with in the class. Its just made me realise how happy i am because I came from a school where I got the mickey taken out of for being brighter than the other pupils. I was known as the geek! But know In college I fit it with everyone else! The thing is…i could possible be losing my place at this college which I think could have a negative impact on my life. I dont think I will be happy anywhere else.!
Bruised rib? Maybe even cracked? I was at a friends house on the trampoline on sunday and he landed on my right side(like a mid air body slam.. 150 something he weighs so the force of it was hard I must say lol) and this pain was just so unbearable on the left side of my chest. My elbow just hit a little below and to the left of my nipple. It doesn’t hurt as much now as it did sunday but once in awhile it hurts when I cough, do deep breaths, reach down to pick something up, or just go to get off the couch… as I said once in awhile. The thing is a couple of years ago I broke my arm and didn’t know for 2 days. I have this unusual thing for pain tolerance.. so I don’t even know if one of my ribs is cracked. What are the symptoms for a bruised/cracked rib? I should probably go to the doctor but my parents have like no money what so ever and they want me to just wait it out and see if it gets better. Also before the trampoline my chest was already bruised or something so the impact just made it worse. haha I bet no one will even answer this since it’s so long sorry about that!
yet again an acne question? in middle school i tried everything over the counter neutrogena to clean & clear i even tried proactiv to mario badescu nothing was working now in high school so i went to my family doctor my peditrician that i go to for everything she said i could either wait to get into a dermatologist or she could prescribe me something so i started using clindamycin phosphate topical gel 1% i used it for about 7-8 months it made my skin better but i was still getting those large deep lumps under the skin that are painful to touch so i called and got it changed to tretinoin gel 0.025% i use that only at night i wait 20-30 likes it says for the skin to dry i wash with benzoyl peroxide 2.5% wash morning and night i’ve been using tretinoin for about 5 weeks now when i first started using it i got sunburn so my face was red,dry and swelled but kinda clear no large bumps then it became very dry always peeling and tight and my skin has never looked worse i use neutrogena for sensitive skin lotion or curel and almay clear complexion concealer with maybeline shine free loose powder although my skin is VERY dry its is oily! also..i called my doctor and im waiting for a call back..i also have bad back acne now anyone know any good prescriptions for that?…so anyone have any advice about what i should do with my skin???? its sucks and its having an impact on my social life.

Storyline

I injured either my "superior tibiofibular ligament" or my "lateral collateral ligament" advice other than MD? Can the finance company refuse a payment? I have a 5th wheel that has a truck as collateral. we are less than 30 days late and they are very shady. we got into a verbal argument today and they said they would refuse a payment if we brought it in and they would reposses the truck. HELP!!!
Can they make you wear your braces until your bill is paid? My girlfriend got her braces on last june and is coming on her first year. When she got them on they told her she would only have to have them on for one year, her teeth were already close to perfect. Storyline
Plot Summary:Chased by school bullies, reprimanded by his father for daydreaming too much Bastian is lost in his own world. Bastian escapes school bullies one rainy day by hiding in an old used book store. Soon discovering the ChildLike Empress is deathly ill, the cause; she needs a new name. A young warrior named Atreyu is called and Bastian follows his adventures, unknowing that he, himself is slowly being written into the mysterious book. In The Neverending Story the boy reading the book yells out his mothers name for the princess, whats the name? Its toward the end of the movie when the Nothing is getting ready to destroy the castle and the princess yells out, "Sebastion, call my name, call my name!" He runs to the window and screams it out. I cant understand what he is saying. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I have wanted to know this for a very long time.

Storyline
Plot Summary:John Rambo’s former Vietnam superior, Colonel Samuel Trautman, has been assigned to lead a mission to help the Mujahedeen rebels who are fighting the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, but the Buddhist Rambo turns down Trautman’s request that Rambo help out. When the mission goes belly up and Trautman is kidnapped and tortured by Russian Colonel Zaysen, Rambo launches a rescue effort and allies himself with the Mujahedeen rebels and gets their help in trying to rescue Trautman from Zaysen.
Not a sci-fi or fantasy movie, but a scene in a movie that was trying to be based in reality that really just seemed impossible. Julie Roberts as a hooker in "Pretty Woman?" Rambo blowing up the whole Russian Army in "Rambo III?" You get the idea.

Question about binary search algorithm in theta notation.? Hello, I’ve a small question about the performance of the Binary Search Algorithm. I’ve written some pseudo-code that does the following: First let me define A as the array in which we are looking for the value v, A is sorted. Next some syntaxis issues, when I write A[1], I mean the first element in the array. The array does NOT start at 0 like in some programming languages, but it starts at 1. First my pseudo-code will be looking for the value v and tries to match the center of the array. If A[center] = v then it will the value center. If A[center] != v then it will check wheter v is bigger or smaller than the center. If v > A[center], it will copy from A[center + 1] untill A[length[A]] into array B. Here array B consist of length[A] – center elements. And it will do a binary search in array B. If v < A[center], it will copy from A[1] untill A[center - 1] into array B. Here array B consist of center – 1 elements. And it will do a binary search in array B. Now my problem is as follows, at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_search we see in the "That it is fast" part that it takes p = ln( N + 1 ) / ln( 2 ) iterations. However in this case, every time when I run my algorithm, the array will be (N – 1) / (2^i) at iteration i, because it leaves the A[center] away, as we already know that A[center] != v at the start. Note: you can safely assume that I used i "as" p because it seemed more logical that I use the variable i for the times of iteration. If we evaluate my equation: 1 = (N – 1) / (2^i)

i = ln( N – 1 ) / ln( 2 ) It’s equal to 1 because Binsearch ends when the array is 1 large, cause the "center" of 1 is 1 itself. I know that for the Big O notation and Theta notation and Big Omega notation it doesn’t really matter cause both will result in O(log n). But I wonder if my "equation" is correct. Can someone varify my equation and tell me what I did wrong if it’s wrong? If needed I will post my pseudo-code, but I do not think it is needed at this point. Thank you for your help!

Storyline
Plot Summary:When con artist Roy Dillon (Cusack) is visited by his Mother, Lilly (Huston), who is also a con artist, she sends Roy off to the hospital because of a blow to the gut he suffered while working the grift. Storyline
Plot Summary:Retired FBI agent Will Graham (William L. Petersen) returns to action to hunt down a serial killer by using his ability to get inside the psychopath’s mind. Storyline
Plot Summary:On Halloween 1963, the small town of Haddonfield is shocked when six-year-old Michael Myers returns from trick-or-treating and for some unknown reason stabs his older sister to death with a big kitchen knife and is found by his parents staring into space with the bloody knife in his hand. Sent to a mental institution, Michael spends the next 15 years just sitting, still staring into space despite the best efforts of his Doctor, Dr. Samuel Loomis. Now, on October 30th 1978, something triggers Michael off and during a storm manages to steal a car from Dr. Loomis and Nurse Marion (who was coming to take Michael to a court to keep him locked up) and goes back to Haddonfield where he steals a white mask. There, Laurie Stode, Micheal’s younger sister, finds that Michael is stalking her during the day (at school, at her home etc – but she doesn’t know who he is.) As Dr. Loomis arrives and with the Sheriff frantically looks for Michael he doesn’t know that Laurie is baby-sitting Lindsey and Tommy and that Laurie’s friends Annie, Lynda and Bob are disappearing one by one…
So its a ways out but want to start planning now so Im not overwhelmed last minute.
Her birthday is Friday Oct 30 the day before halloween. I dont want to do it Friday night and not on Halloween either. I was thinking maybe the weekend before. I live in San Diego and the weather at that time is not nice enough to have it at the beach or park. I live in a small condo and cant have it there. Storyline

Should I continue writing this novel? Should I change the very beginning, like the intro or keep it? I was a widower; I had been for sometime, four years to be exact. My mother could not have possibly been in her right mind when I came out of her womb, because when I came out screaming, full of blood she declared me to be Beatrice. Who in bloody hell names a baby girl Beatrice? I stopped chewing on my pen cap to briefly write down my full name: Beatrice Margret Dawe. I scanned through the rest of the list and jotted down my other personal information, like my birth date, EHIC number and, to my embarrassment, the last time I had sexual intercourse. Over five years. I chewed on the pen cap again and scratched out my last answer and changed it to five years. “All done?” An assistant asked me like I was a child. I nodded and handed her the sheet that revealed how much of an old prune I was, then sat back down in the same seat. I flipped through a magazine, the date on the cover reading 2001. This is a totally bad idea. I should not be in a place that cannot afford to buy new magazines. I bet there are horrible cockroaches in the room. Oh god, that cannot be my gynotologist already! It’s only quarter to four and my appointment isn’t until four. Oh god, oh god, oh god!
“Beatrice?” The doctor, who was not going to give me a lollipop at the end of this session, asked.
Oh god. I stood up with a forced smile on my face. “Hi.”
The doctor smiled back at me. “Right this way.” She led me to her office. Once inside she turned to me. “You can just remove all your clothes and step into one of those gowns. I’ll be back in about five minutes.”
I nodded with a smile even though I was clutching my purse so tightly that I’m not surprised it didn’t crack in half. I took a deep breath and placed my purse on the floor. I then kicked off my shoes, dropped my pants and underwear, unbuttoned and removed my blouse, unclasped my bra and finally removed my sweaty socks. The gown was papery, much like the one I wore when I gave birth three times. Well actually twice, for my youngest daughter, Ivy, I had a C section. Too much of a wussy, my sister said. “Okay, all ready?” The doctor, whose name I still didn’t know, asked.
What a complete idiot! Letting someone operate on me and I don’t even know their last name, or first name for that matter! She could not be a doctor for all I know. She could be some sick, perverted woman who is going to look up my vagina! I glanced around the room, and noted that she had her PHD hung up on the wall. Well that makes it a little better. “Already,” I told her, though I didn’t feel it.
She smiled at me as she put on her latex gloves. Good thing I’m not allergic to latex, or I would get a particularly nasty rash. I sniggered at the thought of people who were allergic to latex. No sex for them!
“Now, you are going to feel a little bit of discomfort,” She told me like I had never had this done before. Like I hadn’t given birth before, but I have Ingrid, Isobel and Ivy for the proof of that, well not so much Ivy, I was apparently a wimp when I had her. Oh god, oh dear god. OH GOD! “I cannot believe you go see your gyno every couple of months!” I said to my older sister, Janet, who at least got a normal name. Janet chuckled on the other end. “Well Ray and I are still sexually active, so I need to get checked up on. You should have been getting it done every year, even if you weren’t sexually active for over five years.”
“Five!” I told her defensively. Again Janet chuckled. “Do you know when Sherry is getting home?” She was referring to our younger sister, the one who I tried to avoid, for the simple fact that she practically dangled having a rich man in her life every time we spoke.
“No clue. Do you know when Joe is getting home?” I asked Janet about our only brother. My mother was most defiantly drunk when she named me. I heard a beeping noise in the background at Janet’s. “He hasn’t called me back yet. Listen I’ve got to run, supper is ready.”
“Okay, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”
“Bye.”
I clicked the phone off and laid it on the counter, next to a block of butter. I too was trying to make dinner, but I knew that whatever I was making would not be as appetizing as Janet’s. My stomach grumbled in hunger and I lifted the cover off of the pot on the stove. The not so delicious smell of spaghetti sauce filled my nostrils. I groaned and put the cover back on the pot then switched the stove off. “Hey girls!”

My boyfriend wants to take the next step, and I really need advice.? So I’ve been with my boyfriend for two and a half months. I’m a sophomore and hes a junior, I’m 15 and he’s 17. We were together before that for a couple of months but we didn’t make it official. We’ve done pretty much everything physical there is to do besides actual sex….he’s brought it up a couple of times but stressed that he doesn’t want to do it until I’m absolutely ready. This weekend my mom is going away and so is my brother, so I’ll have the house to myself but I’ll need to stay at a friends house. We were going to sleep here alone one night, and he asked me if I would be ready. The only thing is I don’t know how I’m supposed to know if I’m ready, but he said there’s no pressure because he wants it to be perfect for me and he wants me to be comfortable. It’s different for me because I’m a girl and he’s older…I think its more practical for a seventeen year old to be sexually active then a fifteen year old. I’m not a slut or anything..he’s the first guy I have ever done anything with, and I’m the first girl hes done anything with besides like kissing…So I’m just wondering should I take the next step, or what should I be asking myself when considering this? Serious advice needed…Having relationship problems and a baby on the way? Im 19 weeks pregnant and since i got pregnant my boyfriend of 3 years has been really off with me (this baby was planned),hanging out till late, smoking weed everyday and avoiding me telling me he needs space. Whenever i tried to talk through our problems he wasnt intrested telling me that im nagging and annoying and just blowing me off leaving me to cry day and night. From spending every day together its gone to seeing him once a week. SO i wrote him a letter explaining how i feel and for him to grow because theres a baby on the way and i need him, i asked him to choose me and the baby or drugs and friends…. after he read the letter this morning at 6am (the time he came home!) he leaned in and kissed me on the cheeck and went to sleep next to me…He hasnt spoke about the letter and i havnt mentioned it either..I left it to him. A friend of ours asked if we can come see him and his gf and i asked him if he wants to come for 5 mins he just threw a tantrum saying he dont want to turned around and left.. Do you think i did the right thing by writing him that letter? We are both 21 and engaged. Later on he text me and told me he still wants to be with me but he cant just quit the weed and that we need a break for about a week or 2 so he can find his feet and find a job. He says its nothing to do with me, i asked him if im in his way he said that kinda yeah because he’s always thinking about me!!!! What should I get my girlfriend for graduation? Nine months and counting. I’ve only bought her jewelry…bracelet, tiffany earrings, a ring (very recently, this week actually). I have bought her stuff at stores like movies or shorts when we go shopping together. I have also bought her a pretty nice iPod jack for her car. Only non-jewelry "present" I’ve ever bought for her. That same night later on i had a dream that looked really realistic, he walked in into my parents room where my mother and i where sleeping and he sat next to me and was like, "babbey babbey wake up.!" and in my dream i woke up and looked at him and surprised i was like "what are you doing here?" and he said to me, "I’m here for you" and i said "but you broke up with me remember?" and he said "i know but i wanna be with you, i want us to be together, we’re back together now.!" and he grabbed my hand and kissed it and said "i love you." that morning i woke up really happy, now have in mind that my dream was after he passed away but before anyone knew about the bad news. A lot of people believe that it was him coming back to tell me he still loved me
If I am going to study in Italy next month, what is the absolute best program to learn fluent Italian? I need to learn Italian on a level where I can have intelligent discourse with Italian people and not just learn how to order cheese in a restaurant or something. If a guy tells me that he went to the Bronx soccer game of peanut butter vs jelly pumpernickel I want to be able to understand him and ask him what the hell is he talking about. I want to speak informal Italian as well as formal and grammar and other things such as expletives and Italian slang. I already know near perfect Spanish, so I think this will really help, considering they are both romance languages.
